Top Theme Park Apps on Android in South Africa: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top theme park apps on the Android platform in South Africa showed varied trends. Here’s a look at the leading apps and their metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.

My Disney Experience experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, highlighted by a peak of 281 downloads in late April. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 371 the same week before stabilizing around 176 by the end of June.

The Disneyland® Paris app saw a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 65 in the final week of June. Active users also showed a strong upward trend, climbing from 34 at the start of the quarter to 110 by the end.

For the Disneyland® app, downloads gradually increased, culminating in 27 downloads by late June. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 26 in early April to 57 by the end of the quarter.

The Tokyo Disney Resort App showed a slight increase in downloads and active users, with a modest revenue spike of $7 in late May. Downloads reached 15 in mid-June, while active users climbed to 48 by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Hong Kong Disneyland maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight increase to 15 downloads at the end of June. Active users rose to 32 by the quarter’s end.
